Four RMG workers killed in Mymensingh road crash

Four Ready Made Garment (RMG) workers were killed and 15 people injured in a bus accident at Trishal in Mymensingh.

The accident took place at Chelerghat area of Dhaka-Mymensingh highway around 8:30 am on Wednesday.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Manjurul Islam of Trishal Police Station confirmed the matter to media.

According to the police and fire service sources, a Dhaka-bound bus from Sherpur broke down at Chelerghat in Trishal upazila. Later, the bus stopped beside the road and tried to fix the wheel. In the meantime, some passengers of the bus signaled another bus to stop. Meanwhile, another bus came and hit the standing passengers and the bus. Three garment workers died on the spot. Another garment worker died on the way to the hospital. Another 15 people were injured in the accident.
