Some 13 persons were detained from a ‘militant hideout’ that was cordoned off by the law enforcers in Kulaura of Moulvibazar.
Among the arrestees, there are six women and three children.
A unit of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) conducted raid named “Operation Hillside” at the ‘militant hideout’ located at Purba Tatriuli village under Karmadha union of the upazila on Saturday morning to neutralise any potential risk stemming from the den.
On information, CTTC members cordoned off the suspected militant den from 8 pm on Friday (August 11).
