Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, the Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP said, “The bloodiest border in the world is now the Bangladesh-India border. BSF is shooting and killing Bangladeshis there almost every day.”

Criticizing India harshly, Rizvi said that they (India) are doing unilateral trade with Bangladesh, but they are not giving any opportunity to Bangladesh to do any business. They are taking thousands of crores of remittances from Bangladesh in various ways. Even though the current government of Bangladesh has destroyed everything, the receipts are empty.

BNP leader Kabir Rizvi led a procession at Kamal Ataturk Avenue in Banani at seven o’clock on Sunday morning. The procession left Banani field and ended at Kakali area.

At that time, the leaders and workers of the party who took part in the procession protested by standing on the street for a while. Ruhul Kabir gave a speech there.

Blaming the neighboring country for the Bangladesh elections, Rizvi said, “The Indian government and their country’s politicians should understand why the people of Bangladesh have turned against them.”

“They (India) have taken a stand against the people of Bangladesh by supporting an authoritarian government. They should support what the people of Bangladesh want,” he claimed further.

Among the other leaders of BNP in the rally were Dhaka District BNP President Khandaker Abu Ashfaq, Mir Newaz Ali Parvez Reza, Khandaker Abul Kalam and others. The rally organized by Dhaka District BNP as part of the announced blockade program of the party.
