He always likes to walk outside the norm. When his controversial cult film ‘Gandu’ released almost a decade ago, many were surprised. There was no shortage of bad words. But India’s talented filmmaker Qaushiq Mukherjee, better known as Q, is slowly coming into his own.
Now, Q is going to cast the controversial social media character Roddur Roy in his next movie. Everything has been finalized by now. The name of the movie is yet to be decided. But Q is making this movie for an international OTT platform. Multiple sources close to director Q and Roddur Roy have confirmed this.
However, the story or details of the movie are not yet known. But a few days ago Roddur was seen in the trailer of a series called ‘Bong Goa Highway’ by the same director. The scene of his arrest from Goa is shown there. ‘Seeing crooked eyes, I am suspected to be a terrorist…’ This dialogue is also heard in Roddur’s mouth. Its first episode aired on Oddjoint’s YouTube channel on November 12.
